- I have a problem I need help on. I have a 2000 with a GVP G-Force 030
- accelerator running at 40 Mhz with MMU and with 12 megs 32 bit fast ram
- and a 200 meg HD on the GForce. I also have a 2091 SCSI card with a 50
- meg HD. I just bought the Picasso II and installed it and the software
- on the HD. Well when I re-boot I get a message saying it can't open a
- certain library. It is in the Libs drawer, but it won't open it and I
- can't access the Picasso II screen modes.
-
- Well I took the jumper J12 off on the GForce making all 12 megs Extended
- memory, and now the Picasso II works. I can use all the screen modes
- that the Picasso II offers, but now I can't access the HD on the 2091 or
- the external ZIP drive on the external SCSI port of the 2091. I moved
- the ZIP drive to the external SCSI on the GForce, but I would like to
- know if there is anything I can do to get access to the 2091 again. If I
- put the jumper back on, I get the 2091 back but lose the Picasso II. I
- thing the rom on the 2091 is 6.1 but not exactly sure, I know the first
- number is 6, but not sure about the .1.
-
- Can anyone help me? I know I can hook the 50 meg to the GForce, but I
- always get errors downloading to a HD on the GVP GForce and not to the HD
- on the 2091. That is the main reason I have kept the 2091 plugged in.
-
- Thanks for any help you can give me. Reply here or EMail me at
- mlillie@dialnet.net and I'll get back to you.
-
- Michael.
